Designed and decorated by a local artist, Ybor Roost is a one-of-a-kind 495-square-foot tiny house with original artwork throughout, vintage character, smart use of space, and a fully private backyard beneath a bougainvillea-covered pergola. It is designed for couples and most comfortable for two. It can accommodate up to four using the Joybird queen sleeper sofa.

THE BACKYARD OASIS

The private, fully fenced backyard is the heart of the property. The hot tub sits beneath a pergola draped in blooming bougainvillea, with string lights overhead and an outdoor table nearby. Ring the vintage bell and see whether Ybor's famous free-roaming chickens wander past.

BEFORE OR AFTER A CRUISE

Ybor Roost is especially convenient for couples who need a memorable overnight before or after a Port Tampa Bay cruise. When one-night stays are available, settle in instead of booking a generic airport hotel. The cruise terminals and Florida Aquarium are about 2 miles away and are also served by the free TECO streetcar.

Guest Access and Parking

You have the entire tiny house and private backyard to yourself. Keyless entry is provided with a unique door code before arrival.

PARKING
• Two electronic residential street-parking registrations are included; nothing is displayed in the vehicle
• The residential permit requirement applies from 6 PM to 6 AM
• Send us a clear photo of the license plate, the issuing state, and the vehicle make and model as soon as you know them so we can register the vehicle before arrival
• Rental car? Send the information as soon as you receive it
• Follow all posted parking signs; some spaces may still require payment
• If complete vehicle information arrives after 9 PM on arrival day, the guest must pay for the first night using the app or instructions on the parking sign

The person who books must be the person who stays. We do not accept third-party bookings.

Good to Know Before Booking

Ybor City is Tampa's lively, historic entertainment district. You may hear nearby trains, street activity, live music, or Ybor's famous roaming roosters. Weekends are typically more energetic; weekdays are generally more relaxed. White-noise machines and blackout shades are provided in every bedroom. This property is not ideal for anyone requiring complete quiet.

Ybor Roost is a compact 495-square-foot tiny house designed for couples and most comfortable for two. It can accommodate up to four using the Joybird queen sleeper sofa, but four guests should expect a cozy stay.

The home is best suited to adults. It is not childproofed and does not provide infant-safety equipment. The private hot tub and outdoor areas require active adult supervision. Exterior security devices, if present, are disclosed in the property's safety information before booking; there are no interior cameras.

The Neighborhood

Ybor Roost sits on East 5th Avenue in Tampa's Ybor City National Historic Landmark District. Walk about two blocks to 7th Avenue and about three blocks to the free TECO streetcar. The neighborhood is known for its Cuban, Spanish, Italian, German, and Jewish heritage, historic cigar factories, local restaurants, coffee shops, live music, cigar lounges, and famous free-roaming chickens.

The free streetcar serves Port Tampa Bay, the Florida Aquarium, the Channel District, Water Street, downtown Tampa, the Convention Center, Riverwalk, and arena events. Ybor is lively and urban, so guests should expect normal city sounds, especially on weekends.

Getting Around

Walk about two blocks to 7th Avenue and about three blocks to the free TECO streetcar. Ride fare-free to Port Tampa Bay cruise terminals, the Florida Aquarium, the Channel District, Water Street, downtown Tampa, the Convention Center, Riverwalk, and arena events.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation (no cancellation fees or partial refunds possible) for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 72 hours away at time of booking.
